Along with the above, I was fortunate to design various collaterals for The Regional Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (Overseas Indians Day) also called as RPBD that was held on 17th & 18th October 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster, UK. RPBD 2014 Convention was the eighth such conference held outside India where it connects India with its vast Indian Diaspora. Graphic Design Intern

During the summer break, I interned at Edge & Barrett, London as a graphic designer where I worked on British brands based in London like the Winchester White, Zippers Restaurant, Dryland, etc. Since I was still pursuing my education at that time, here I learnt how to make effective presentations that were majorly targeting the British audience.

Due to the rappo we had there as a team, I was fortunate enough and was called back in the Christmas semester break to intern on a project.

Graphic Design Intern

The experience I gained working at Epigram, a leading Advertising agency in the Entertainment industry; was absolutely exceptional as I was working directly under Mr Nabeel Abbas, the founder. Following my passion for photography, I pursued a short course in Fashion and Editorial Photography. Through this course, I learnt different lighting conditions, both studio and outdoor. Also, got some experience on how to direct the shoot while working with models, location scouting, editorial compositions and post-editing.

At Northumbria University, I gained immense cultural and technical exposure using the traditional printing techniques like the Letterpress & Screen Printing facilities. In this advanced world of Design, it is very important for a graphic designer to know where it all begun. The course at Northumbria was comparatively different from what I pursued in India as it challenged our creative minds to think out of the box. I also, got the opportunity to work on live briefs that were based on branding and packaging which helped me understand the crux of design and interpret the brief requirement at its best.

I completed  2 years of my foundation from MIT ID where I got to explore all fields of design study, right from the colour theory, history of art, perspective drawings, photography, ergonomics, human anatomy, typography and lots more. I gained immense practical knowledge while working with different kinds of materials ranging from clay, metal, wood, paper mache, wireframe structures, etc.

Further on I was given the opportunity to go overseas for a twinning program in BA (Hons) Graphic Design at Northumbria University.

At Mithibai College I opted for Arts pursuing the following subects; English, Information Technology, Logic, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, Economics & EVS.
